Precautions for using a shearing machine

2024/5/8

1. The shearing machine should be used and stored by a dedicated person. The operator should be familiar with the structure and performance of the machine tool.

2. Overloading of the shearing machine is strictly prohibited, and it is not allowed to shear quenched steel, hard steel, high-speed steel, alloy steel, castings, and non-metallic materials.

3. The blade edge should be kept sharp, and if the edge is dull or damaged, it should be promptly ground or replaced.

4. When multiple people are operating, there should be a dedicated person to command, and cooperation should be coordinated.

5. It is prohibited to cut two different specifications of materials simultaneously on the shearing machine, and overlapping cutting is not allowed.

6. Do not use your hands to operate under the pressure plate during cutting and feeding. When cutting the material short, another iron plate should be used to press it down, and the fingers should be at least 200 millimeters away from the blade when cutting.

7. After aligning the wire with a pry handle, the pry handle should be immediately removed before cutting. If the iron plate is moving, a wooden pillow should be used to secure it to prevent the pry handle from popping out and injuring people after being pressed down.

8. The cut workpieces should be placed steadily and not stacked too high. They are not allowed to be stacked in the aisle. The leftover materials and waste materials at the corners should be cleaned up in a timely manner to keep the site clean.

9. The safe operation of the bending machine must comply with this regulation.
